Poor Bumble was left on the stoop outside a West Virginia veterinary practice - indeed, one of the practices with whom Hedgesville Hounds is grateful to have a vetting relationship. He was left inside a cardboard box with a note attached explaining that he was a "very nice kitten" and that his owner could not keep him; the note asked if someone would please help Bumble.
There is nothing worse than finding a heartrending note and an empty box. Fortunately, the frantic technician who was opening up that morning looked everywhere outside for the missing foundling, and discovered him unhappily perched in a tree; he had freed himself from the bonds of his cardboard box and scotch tape, and he was lonely and frightened and very hungry.
Bumble has won the hearts of everyone at the vet's, where he has lived since he climbed down the tree. The technicians have lobbied long and hard to keep him at the practice as their mascot, but everyone agrees that a good, loving home might be a better solution.
And, oh, the lucky home that gets him! Bumble is irresistible. He has big ears and a very big nose. He purrs constantly. Filled with trust and love, he melts into your arms, happy to accept any position in which he finds himself. Every dog, every human, every cat is a friend to Bumble, who loves the world unabashedly.
In fact, Bumble is a remarkable fellow. He will make a wonderful companion for the human(s) who is not seeking a casual relationship, nor an independent family member. He will be well suited to someone who would enjoy as much time as possible sharing a lap and a bed with this grand cuddler; he truly is a funny, inordinately affectionate, dear, and special fellow.
Our cat adoption fee is $90.
