Bo is diabetic and will need someone to continue managing his blood glucose levels and only allowing safe foods. We hope he will go into remission soon. It’s one of the amazing things about cats, that they can go into diabetic remission. He’s very good for his testing and injections and we'll be able to teach you how to do it. The cost for his diabetic testing supplies and insulin is approximately $150-200 every 4-6 weeks. If you go to the USA on occasion, there are less expensive testing supplies available. He is a really sweet guy who enjoys people and is very chill with other cats. He will need regular grooming to prevent mats and tangles. Bo is playful, food motivated, enjoys looking out the window and following you around. He has a dental scheduled which is paid for by the rescue. Bo is being fostered in Brantford Ontario, we can usually help with transportation if needed. Boyfriend is 12 or so years old and the handsomest boy you’ll ever meet. He came to us in April of this year after being found outside covered in mats and brought to an animal shelter. The shelter reached out to us because Boyfriend (Bo for short) is diabetic.
