One of our WPR foster homes trapped her and rescued her off of the streets. Boo had a very rough go…she was so dehydrated from the heat wave this year that we almost lost her. She is a tiny cat, super friendly and she is a cuddler. She is only about 1-1/2 years old as of April 2024. 12/22/23 UPDATE: We thought things were better for Boo but she had another incident where she prolapsed her anus. This is the fourth time. She is a cat that will need to have Miralax once a day. Praying this takes care of her issue...if not, she will be a high maintenance costly kitty. It requires a trip to the vet, being put under, stitched for 5-7 days, return trip to vet to remove stitches. She is absolutely worth it though! Her daughter is named Kit if anyone would like to adopt 2 female cats. But 2 good homes would be ok too! Boo is up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and spayed. Boo's adoption fee is $95.00. WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters. Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $250 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office
