My Story

All the orangeness, none of the kitten crazies! Our buddy Bodie is a large orange boy who is still young enough to enjoy play time but is past the kitten chaos. He wants to be part of the home happenings, especially if you are snuggled in on the couch binge watching your new favorite show. He is a big believer in nap time is cuddle time! Bodie's first five years were not ideal for him. He was in a home with small, loud children and dogs. Not his happy place. He spent a lot of time hiding and trying to find a peaceful place. Bodie's ideal home is a quiet environment (single person or a couple of adults or with older kids) without small kids, dogs, or other cats. He just wants to be the best boy and not have to share his humans with others. Also, he loves the ladies and is "ok" with the men. Bodie likes to sit in the window and watch the birds and squirrels, he plays with felt mice and likes a good game of laser chase. He's currently a bit heavy and would benefit from regular attention and playtime. Bodie hates visits to PetSmart and adoption events. They are just too much for this quiet soul. His go to when things are too chaotic or stressful is to find a quiet place to hide. Can you give this sweet, gentle big bubba the home he's always wanted? Help him heal from the stress of the past? Give him the quiet, consistent life he craves? His foster will make arrangements for an appropriate meet and greet where you can meet him at his best. If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry. Applicants are processed first come first served and some kittens go fast. You are not obligated to adopt by submitting an application and due to volume, we are not always able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. All Diva Pets Rescue cats have been fostered in homes by our volunteers. An application is required prior to meeting our cats in order to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. You can complete the adoption application at www.divapetsrescue.org. One of our volunteers will get back to you within 48 hours. Please contact us for more information at [email protected]. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.
