Bluebell

Bluebell was found alone in Bellevue Nebraka. Another local rescue came to her aid but knew she needed closer care than they coud provide. They called FKP to continue care by bottle feeding and providing around the clock care. In fostercare Blue Bell was not alone but had other kittens to become a family. Bluebell also known as POOTS (her foster mom affectionately calls her), is the lovliest little girl. She plays fetch and has a great time with other fosters. She does have a significant heart murmur which we have worked up. Under the recommendation of our veterinarian we waited until she was big enough to handle surgery. Which meant we had to wait until she was 6 months. The murmur has not progressed but will need to be continually monitored throughout her care. Due to the cost of speical ultrasound and other treatment her adoption fee will stay at $175 to help compensate for some of the extra medical care she received. DOB 10/5/23 In general, kittens do better with other kittens. That gives them company and gives you a break so consider adopting a pair. The adoption fee is $175 and covers age appropriate vaccines, tests, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. The majority of our cats/kittens are in foster care and we must be respectful of the foster family's time. An approved application is required prior to setting up the meet and greet. After the meeting, if you believe you have met your new family member, you would be able to take them home the same day. Please know that we do vet checks and property checks on all our applicants. If you have pets currently, all pets must be current on ALL MAINTENANCE VETERINARY CARE AND ALTERED. This includes core vaccines and virus testing. We check deeds and call landlords to ensure the cat is allowed on your lease. VETTING INFORMATION CAN BE PROVIDED BY YOUR VET (WE WILL CALL THEM) OR BY SUBMITTING THE PAPERWORK BUT IT MUST BE VERIFIED. If you have a pet that has been deceased within 2 years, we will also need to verify that pet was current on all medical care or as recommended by your veterinarian at the time of their passing. Due to limited resources for local vetting, adoptions may be delayed until after kittens are altered. Wait times may vary until age-appropriate vetting can be performed prior to adoption. THE FOSTER KITTEN PROJECT IS A RESCUE THAT FOCUSES ON NEONATALS. Not all Kittens posted are ready for their Forever home immediately and may need further foster and veterinary care. Kittens that do go to forever homes are FULLY vaccinated, Spayed/Neutered, Microchipped, Dewormed, FIV/FELV tested, and fecal tested PRIOR to going home with you.
