My Story
Big, handsome Blizzard lost his home when his elderly owner passed away. He was a much-loved pet who was always well cared for, and although he is 13-years-old, he is in very good health, and should have many more active years ahead of him. His shots have been updated, his teeth have been cleaned, and has been seen by a vet, so he's ready to go home with you!
Poor Bliz not only lost his home and his owner, but his long-time companion cat, and how he is at Petsmart, where everything is new and strange to him. So, its not surprising that he seems a little shy (and unhappy) right now. But under better circumstances, he is a good companion who asks for little out of life but good food, a loving touch, and a warm spot to sleep. In his foster home it took him a week to feel comfortable - change is apparently hard for him. Bliz is a quiet, undemanding cat, but he has some Oriental Short Hair (Siamese) genes, and so can be kind of vocal when he wants to let you know something.
Bliz has been declawed, and so must be strictly an indoor cat. He needs a quiet, peaceful home. He would really love to live with another senior citizen, and he promises to be a good friend to anyone
The adoption fee for this cat is $75, which includes his neuter surgery and also his vaccinations (rabies, distemper/FVRCP, and feline leukemia). But, for a qualified senior citizen, the adoption fee is only $25! So, please consider giving a home to an older gentleman who is down on his luck.
If you would like to see handsome Blizzard, please come by the Logan Petsmart and say hello. Or, to learn more about meeting or adopting him, please call Sheri at 435-787-1751. And thank you for your interest in helping a homeless cat.
