Blackie's Spade

Spade is one of 15 kitties rescued from a run-down trailer park. His mother, "Blackie", was one of "Mama's" kittens from 2005. Blackie survived, along with her mama, by eating out of a dumpster and accepting whatever handouts some pitying person would give her. Little Spade is from her second litter of kittens. He and his siblings and aunts and uncles were born on April 28, 2007, just before we went to rescue them. Unfortunately, they were born under a trailer, so we were unable to get ahold of them until they were finally old enough to make an appearance on May 28. All the kittens are very innocent, as they had never had any human contact until we took them. They are now eating solid food, and will be available for adoption the end of June. Spade and his sister, Bitsie, were discovered a day after the rest of their relatives had been rescued, so we had to go and get them, too. Spade is very playful and cute. His adoption fee is $85, which will include his neutering. He has been dewormed, Frontlined, and given his first vaccination.
