Oh, what a beautiful boy!
Biggles is a very sweet and cuddly kitty - like a big teddy bear! He loves to be petted and held. And he has the most beautiful medium-length light orange coat. We simply cannot imagine why someone would have abandoned this lovely cat! Biggles doesn't understand it either. But he is in a safe place now and pretty soon, someone will come by and meet him and fall in love. Could that someone be you?
Biggles doesn't look it, but he is estimated to be about eight years old. And that's good news for him, because it means he qualifies for our senior discount. The lucky person who adopts this kitty will get him for a reduced adoption fee!
Note: Biggles was recently adopted and returned to us because the resident cat was picking on him. Biggles might adapt best to a home with no cats or only very mellow cats just like him.

Our Mature Companions program is designed to strengthen and promote the human-animal bond for senior humans and senior felines.
Cats 8 years and older can have a fairly difficult time of getting adopted when competing with younger cats and kittens. Additionally, senior cats often experience depression when they enter the shelter. Being adopted by a senior human (60 years and older) who understands their calm nature and need for companionship is a perfect match for these senior cats.
