BIG POPPA

BIG POPPA is a talkative, attention-seeking, and playful boy. He is so soft and silky! He is a Bombay, with a potential mix. He is still skittish, but lets you pet him. He is great with other cats and is starting to trust people, having been a street cat for his first year and more. He is jet black and incredibly sleek. BIG POPPA was recently rescued and he is happy to be in Danbury and is looking for a home with a loving family. Eventually, BIG POPPA will make an amazing shoulder and lap cat. This house panther is amazing! BIG POPPA is ready for immediate adoption! He will require time and patience throughout his adjustment period. His lower adoption fee reflects this. BIG POPPA seems to be comfortable with females much quicker than males (humans). There will be a lot of demand for BIG POPPA. He will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!! Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive. All of our cats and kittens are rescues from shelters, or surrendered to us by their owners. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention. We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders. Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
