My Story

Visit Berry now in the main room at Catnip Cat Cafe! Please guarantee your spot with a paid booking: https://catnipcatcafe.com/reservations/ (Ghent area of Norfolk, walk-ins are only available if not sold out). ***Reservations Highly Suggested / Limited Space*** +++++++++++++++++++++++ Berry (nicknamed Berry-bear) is a very sweet, lovable mush pot. He greets everyone who comes over. He loves to give sloppy kisses on his foster mom's eyes, ears, nose, and neck. He loves lap naps, rubs, and pets. Favorite toys are cardboard boxes, kick sticks, furry balls, and catnip! Berry likes to be up high and will climb up anything, so kitty proof your tables and shelves. He will open the fridge door if given the chance! In a human companion, I’m looking for: Someone who doesn't mind kisses. In an animal companion (house-mate), I'm looking for: Someone who likes to play the zoomy game. Lots of people say I love to: Give wet kisses and nibble! Despite my less-than-ideal start in life, I have flourished in FAN's care and am now: A love sponge. ++++++++++++++++++++ It’s important to set reasonable expectations when bringing any new cat home. We offer the Rule of Threes. 3 DAYS: To decompress 3 WEEKS: To get familiar with your house and its routines 3 MONTHS: To settle in and feel like they’re home Adding a new animal to your household can be a whirlwind of an experience for many owners. There is a lot of change happening for your new cat, so it’s not uncommon for the cat’s behavior to change accordingly. They may be acting in ways you’ve never seen before, and this can be discouraging. These “rules” are estimated marker points where you may see behavioral changes from your new cat. SEE https://www.feralaffairs.org/faq/ to learn how long it may take to acclimate your cat to their new home. All our adoptable cats and kittens are: — spayed / neutered — vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP) — microchipped, if they get lost (and found), they can easily be scanned and reunited with you! — tested for FIV & FeLV diseases — parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention) — provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues — conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? 1.
