Meet Bernie! She came to us when she was about 8 weeks old with her siblings, scared and in desperate need of socialization. She was suddenly surrounded by big, scary people and just didn't know what to do with herself. We sent her into foster for socialization. but she still remained wary.
Bernie can be a sweet girl, but has a pretty strong independent streak. She takes time to trust and will likely never be a lap cat, but that doesn't make her any less deserving of a home and a place to call her own.
