HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Bernard has always lived with other cats and would benefit from having a confident cat around. DOGS: Bernard can be a little shy and doesn't like quick movements so would prefer a home without a dog. KIDS: Because he's a little shy, he would prefer a home without kids. KNOWN LIKES: His cat bed, Churu, breakfast time, dinner time, quiet naps, looking out the window. KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises, being picked up. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Bernard spent most of his life outside and has been adjusting well to life as an indoor kitty. He is shy to start and needs a quiet space to feel comfortable and settle in. Once he's bonded with his human, he'll follow them around and loves massages. He's a big fan of Churu treats and never skips a meal. You can usually find him living the life of leisure he earned, snoozing in the sunshine. He recently had a dental and doesn't have any teeth left so you won't have to worry about any more dental expenses! He's looking for a quiet home to spend his retirement in. He'd do well with another confident cat to keep him company. When he came to us, he was matted and needed to be shaved so his hair is growing back. He normally has long hair.
