You can save animals like Bentley and Skye by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click

Bentley and Skye are the first 2 lucky cats out of 30 living outside in rural Va that have made their way to rescue. Bentley is an adorable round faced Tuxedo and Skye a lovely long haired black cat. They are both friendly gentle boys. While they do not need to stay together we think they would be happiest with another cat since they are used to living in a colony. They need a foster as well as an adopter since they are currently being boarded at our vet. Both boys arrived very thin with fevers and colds which are now gone and they are being neutered today 12/18. As soon as these two have a place to go we will rescue two more in need of help from their colony.
