Benji was found as a stray up north. The people fell in love with him and started caring for him. But when they took him to the vet, they found that he was FIV positive. They really wanted to keep him, but couldn't because of their other animals. They loved him enough to drive hours to bring him to our shelter where he would be safe and hopefully would find a nice home. Benji was purring in his cat carrier in the lobby when they brought him. He is going to be very sweet and loving, no doubt. . His poor ears are due to ear mites, but it gives him character! Benji will be living with our AIDS kitties in a special room. He will be loved and cared by our volunteers, but he would really love to find a comfy couch to curl up on in a sunny place..please call to meet this nice boy and find out what caring for an FIV positive kitty means!
