Benedict

Benedict is a super loving, gentle soul that loves spending quality time with his favorite humans in the form of cuddles and naps. He likes to play a little bit, but always seems ready to find a human lap to relax on and watch TV. He is most suited for a calm and patient home, to match his demeanor, perhaps with older children who can understand cat body language. Once he does become comfortable and begin to trust, Benedict will love you unconditionally. He will come greet you at the door when you arrive home, ready for love and affection. Benedict had dental surgery, and is taking daily pain medication as his gums heal. We are hoping for a complete recovery, but he may need long term pain management in the form of occasional oral medication. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, and microchipped. Benedict tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus ("FIV") which causes a weakening of the cat's immune system. Cats with FIV can live a healthy normal life, both in quality and longevity.
