Bear is the ultimate cat. He is a large black cat who has had a bit of a rough past judging by his missing tooth and torn ears. You would never know it though, because he is extremely lovable and craves attention. Bear is one of our older cats, liking to take it easy and relax in your lap. Every time you sit down he is right there to see if you need a lap warmer. Bear is also good with other cats, dogs and kids. If you are interested in Bear, please contact Coreen at [email protected].
The adoption fee is on a sliding scale; $50 to $75. You decide the amount that is right for you to give. We have an all volunteer staff so your entire fee goes towards saving AWF's rescue animals. If your donation covers Bear's medical costs, then the remainder of your donation will go towards helping save another homeless pet!

Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we can not guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
