Bean Bag is the best! Beanie showed up in a colony and was instantly noted as a friendly. Some time during his outside adventures Beanie became FIV+ but you would never know, he is in great shape and lives nicely with other cats. Beanie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home.
This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
