Baxter was living in an industrial site. He came to the attention of an AWF volunteer when she noticed he had an eye issue. Baxter is very friendly and loves people. He has some trouble with other cats, but is slowly learning to get along with them. Not sure of dogs. His eye issue has cleared up and he still has vision in that eye, but it is sunken in a little and looks like he is always squinting. He is not afraid of newcomers and will welcome anyone. He does appear to be approx. 7 years old and is still a little on the thin side but is gaining weight steadily. He also has had frost bite on his ears at some point. They don't have any hair on them, but this should not cause him any future issues. He is now ready to find his forever family. Baxter is Fiv/Felk negative, neutered and up to date on his shots.
The adoption fee is on a sliding scale; $60 to $100. You decide the amount that is right for you to give. We have an all volunteer staff so your entire fee goes towards saving AWF's rescue animals. If your donation covers medical costs, then the remainder of your donation will go towards helping save another homeless pet!
