Baxter was born in 2001, but revels in his “inner kitten;” he loves children and those of us who never want to grow up. His main goal in life is to have a lap to sit in and good company. He is a Korat mix and lives up to their reputation; he is extraordinarily expressive and affectionate.
Baxter is just looking for that special forever home where he can strongly bond with his people or person. Oh, and there is one other thing that Baxter likes a lot . . . his meals. He needs a firm hand that cannot be coerced into an extra one or two throughout the day.
Baxter will be great company for a single person who likes a very attentive companion, or a family who has the time to devote to him.
Baxter, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you are interested in meeting Baxter, please fill out the
"I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.
Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
