Batman

Batman's adventure started in Costa Rica, where he was being cared for as a friendly stray. Eager for him to have a good life, a volunteer brought him all the way to the States to Animal Haven, hoping to find a permanent, indoor home. Batman is a highly affectionate cat who bonds quickly with people and is a little shadow. Of course, he's a big snacker and loves his food, despite only having a few teeth left. He can be a chatty cat and is eager to have conversations between head butts! He'd make an excellent companion for someone who works from home and needs a little company. Batman is a homebody and prefers not to move around too much. It may take him a couple of days to settle into a new home, but we promise he'll be a purr machine once he does! Sadly, Batman is FIV positive, which has been a major hurdle for finding a potential adopter despite him being such a sweet cat. Although FIV is incurable, it is highly manageable and FIV+ cats can live normal healthy lives. It is not easily transmitted to other cats, though it is possible, so we do suggest him being the only cat in the home or with other FIV+ cats.
