My Story

Bast is a sweet but shy little girl who loves attention and is not above hamming it up to get it-- but only with people she knows and trusts. She is more reserved at first but once she realizes you're safe, she'll be all over you. I realized while writing this that she has a bit of "queen bee" energy; perhaps because I named her after an Egyptian goddess. That might have something to do with it. Bast and her 2 brothers were found outside in the backyard of an abandoned house in June of 2022; they were all in very poor condition and would not have survived had I not heard a rustling sound coming from a pile of trash. I don't think anyone could have guessed that the scraggly little kittens I found that day would grow into some of the most beautiful cats I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. It's because of Bast's shyness that she has been passed over for adoption by several interested parties but I know the perfect home is out there for her. If you're looking for a beautiful little lady who loves quiet nights in watching movies or reading books and snuggling up on the couch (with some playtime and treats mixed in!), Bast just might be the perfect little queen for you! Because Bast and her brother, Anubis, are both timid at first, they MUST go to their forever home together.
