Basement Cat...ok, so that is not her given name. That would be Nepthus. But I had such a hard time pronouncing it, that I am calling her Basement Cat! She really doesn't care and she can't wait for her new forever home to name her something permanent! She is a cute little kitty, about 6 months old. She is all black except for a few white hairs on her chest! Her fur is short and always in perfect form! She is being fostered with her sister, who I call Velcro. Basement Cat is a bit shyer and slower to warm up to people than her sister, but given the few days she has been with us, she has quit hiding under the bed and now comes right out to be petted when we enter the room she is staying in at our house! She just loves to be petted. She is not so much the cuddler though, but will climb into your lap for a good scritching! She is very quiet, her meow is more like a low growl, which makes her even cuter. Her purr is loud and strong! She likes to play, and I think her favorite thing is to drag some Mardi Gras beads under the bed to stash after she has finished getting all tangled in them!
She is up to date on all her shots and tests. She has been spayed. She is available to adopt now with a home visit. Adopt just her for $99, or for a special price of $130, you can adopt both Basement Cat and her sister, Velco!

Oh and the funny color over her right eye in the photos is just the sunshine!!
