My Story

Barney is one of the smartest cats that this shelter has seen in awhile! Staff actually had to place Barney in a specific kennel with a certain locking mechanism because he was able to escape from his first kennel! Barney was not trying to be a problem- he just wanted to say hello to the other cats by stretching his paws and climbing the kennels. We are not sure why this golden eyed boy has not been claimed - but what is for certain is that he will make friends with anyone who spends time with him. Barney wouldn't mind some cat friends of his own, but is not really thrilled with toys at the moment- he longs for interaction and playtime. Barney is a little sad that many are adopting kittens and don't want a big boy like him. He wants so much to be close with someone - and has a particular liking to the head of staff. Barney is very loving- we guarantee it.
