HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Cat selective DOGS: Unknown but may be skittish around dogs KIDS: No small kids, sudden movements make him nervous. KNOWN LIKES: He LOVES toys, especially his ribbon wand toy. And wet food. KNOWN DISLIKES: Does not like being picked up and held. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Barish means "Rain", and he has weathered a lot of storms in his young life. After coming to us all the way from Kabul, he was found to have a very painful condition resulting from his neuter surgery as well as dental issues. He was noisy and standoffish, because he was in pain with every step and every bite. He had a dental with many extractions and corrective neuter surgery, and Barish is pain free. Though it took him a while to trust that the pain would not return, he is now an absolute love bug. Barish adores being brushed and petted and no longer cowers in the corner when a stranger wanders into his room. He has lovely litter box manners and is a very handsome creamsicle cat with white boots and ascot. The dental gave him a constant quizzical expression - "Sorry to trouble you - may I have a pet? He wants his very own human to love and adore and is probably best in a home where he is the only cat, so that he can finally be spoiled. He loves binge watching Bridgerton and Tom and Jerry cartoons. He is now only noisy if his mealtime is long- delayed, but it is more chirping than wailing. If you need a snuggle bunny and are prompt with meals, Barish will make a loving companion. Barish is not a fan of kids and prefers the adult size humans.
