Hello! My name is Banavie. I'm a unique tortoiseshell female with a stunning coat that includes a mix of lighter shades on the left side of my face and darker tones on the right. I wear a white collar w/ teal clasp. Born around April 22, 2022, I am a shy, medium-haired beauty who carries a quiet charm. Growing up in a small world surrounded by my feline family, I became quite satisfied with their company, but I had less opportunity to interact with humans. I may be a bit shy when we first meet, but I am sweet at heart and just need some patience and understanding as I learn about human noises and activities. I have learned so much about the joys of human touch, and I've grown to appreciate gentle pets and the soothing strokes of a brush, which make me feel loved and secure. I am also savoring ample food and appreciate the chance to put on some needed weight. Although initially wary, I am beginning to experience moments laying on a human's lap. As I continue to discover how comforting human companionship can be, I am eager to find a quiet home where I can thrive on stability and calmness, with someone who understands my need for gentle encouragement and a slower pace. I would be comfortable with other non-dominant cats, or you might consider adopting one of my litter mates so I would have company. I would need a slow introduction following Wild Blue's instruction when meeting new pets, and the opportunity to settle in at my own pace. Older kids (12+ years) who would respect my need for a slow gentle approach would be ideal. They could teach me the pleasures of playtime with a wand or laser light.
