Baby- SPECIAL DIET

Baby is a handsome 7 year old cat who will require some special care and a special diet. He had a surgery to decrease his chances of ever experiencing a urinary blockage. He has had quite a few cystitis episodes (bloody urine) but has been able to improve with antibiotics and pain meds. It is very important that he is fed a urinary diet. We are hopeful that his forever home is out there and will cover the first month of food. Baby is from a hoarding situation we assisted with over 3 years ago! He is anxiously waiting for his turn to go home. He is social with humans on his own terms. He is not aggressive. He enjoys other non dominant cats and he really would love a home with another kitty friend. Will you provide a second chance for a cat in need. Thanks to many generous donations, Baby’s adoption fee has been waived. Adoption process still applies. You may complete our adoption application any of the following ways: -Through our website - www.scruffypawsanimalrescue.org - Email a copy to [email protected] - Drop off a hard copy to one of our store locations (Petsmarts located in Johnston and North Smithfield)  - Mail it to: Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue 2944 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886   The adoption fee covers the following vetting, spay/neuter, rabies vaccinated, distemper vaccinated, combo test, flea treatment, dewormed, and microchip.   Adoption Process:  - Adoption Application - Vet Reference (Please call your vet ahead of time to give permission to release records to our adoption team.) - Home visit (Please make sure you are located in our vicinity, we are based out of Warwick, RI.) - If renting, landlord's contact information must be provided so that our adoption team can seek approval. FYI: Many of our cats are located in foster homes.  An adoption application must be approved prior to meeting our cats.  This is for the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.
