They were found and rescued during a spay and neuter campaign in a conflict zone in Ukraine. The BTC team first found the four young, sickly kittens suffering from very bad eye infections. They didn't see Rose around anywhere, so they set a trap, and were finally able to catch her within a day or two. Rose was underweight, covered in fleas and ticks. Rose and her kittens, including Azalia, were brought back to the shelter where they have now been nursed back to health. All siblings were treated for bad eye infections due to herpes virus. Due to this, Rose and kittens were kept separate from all other cats. They only know each other. Azalia is the shyest in the group, skittish to the touch. She will need a calm home with an adopter who will go very slow with her building trust. She's a beautiful cat with her glorious hair. We would like to adopter her with her outgoing sister Daisy who she looks to for confidence. No kids or dogs.
