My Story

UPDATE: 10/8/09 - Aurora has recently spent time in foster care because she needed medicine for a bug bite that was healing. The foster family has discovered several things about her that might help you make up your mind about her. She is NOT afraid of dogs and is very inquisitive of the cats/kitties that are in the foster home. She is anxious to get out of her cage everyday and stands up to beg for you to pick her up and bring her out. She also loves to give nose bumps when her foster mom reaches in to feed her. She is a good eater and loves all the treats that have been offered to her. Aurora is a beautiful girl and deserves to have a home where she can be treated like the real princess that she is! Aurora came to us from an animal control office who didn't know much about bunnies. She had a cyst on her forehead right between her eyes and she needed medical attention. We were able to give that to her immediately and put her on the proper medication to cure any infections she had caused by the cyst! We are happy to report that Aurora is doing very well. She has had a full recovery without any scars and now awaits her forever family at the shelter. She has a beautiful black coat and an adorable white spot on her nose. She weighs 5 pounds and she is full grown. Aurora was named after the Disney Princess Aurora because she demands attention and loves to be spoiled. She has a spunky personality and loves to run around the shelter and chase the other bunnies in their daily game of TAG. She would make a great family pet and is anxiously awaiting the right person/family to come into the shelter to meet her! Aurora has already been spayed, so she is ready to go home at any time! Please stop by the shelter to see our beautiful princess - Aurora! Approximate date of birth: January 2007
