This old girl had a wretched life, I didn't realize she wasn't feral when we trapped her in an established colony. She had been living there for years, surviving unsurmountable odds! It was a bad colony to be in. How she got there, we do not know. Once trapped we tested her, she is positive for FIV, minus many teeth, others are nubbins, she has skin cancer on her left ear, and as if that's not bad enough to survive with, she's deaf. All of this I did not know, until I brought her back for recovery because she was too old to just TNR. Once she was with me a week, I knew she was not feral, she just lays there, very little movement until you oet her an give her deep hard rub downs ?, she loves them! She's just an old deserving soul that needs a thick blanket with a cat bed, her food water and litterbox in a 2 foot vicinity ?! Other than that, you won't know she's there. She doesn't like being picked up, but nails can be trimmed if someone keeps her back feet on the floor and just pets her head while having a little hold. Any sudden movement around her head will get you a hiss!
