My Story

Arizona was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as "CH" or "wobbly cat syndrome". This is a disorder that affects the cerebellum, which is the part of the brain that controls motor skills and mobility. The common symptoms are wobbly walking, head bobbing and tremors. CH is not painful, contagious or a progressive conditions. Although there is no cure, cats with the disease can still lead a long, happy, normal life. We are offering adoptions by appointment only with a pre-approved application. If you are interested in adoption, please complete and submit an application that can be found on our website at westmorelandhumanesociety.com for review. We will only contact you to set up an appointment if you are approved. Please allow at least 72 hours for the review process.
