My Story

Meet Ariel! This poor girl was found as a stray, emaciated and eating from empty recycling cans. After a trip to the vet, it was discovered that she was suffering from a severe uterus infection (Pyo-metra) that required emergency surgery. Now that Ariel is recovering well, she is seeking a Foster-To-Adopt home of her own! Since her arrival, this petite lady has been quite nervous. She’s still taking time to come around and realize that people are friends not foe, but slowly we’re starting to see her sweet side! With some gentle coaxing and familiar faces she becomes quite affectionate! She’ll purr whilst kneading her blankets – and if you rub her chin she’ll even start to make little drool bubbles! Ariel does still get overwhelmed easily, so a quiet home and her own small space is a must! No kids or dogs for this gal, but we suspect she may be cat social. This little lady has been through a lot in her young life already, so if you think you could be the one to take her in and show her real love contact the shelter today for more info! *Ariel is still currently on a special diet and medications to support her in her recovery and will need follow-up bloodwork to ensure her health is back on track.*
