Apollo

Apollo was a rescue from a Va. woman who is loosing her home. All of her cats need homes and if you can help she would be very grateful. according to the owner: Apollo is a Flame-point Siamese mix, about 9, neutered, & up to date on his shots until last July. He is probably the most gentle of all my cats, & because he so subservient, he is at the bottom of the totem pole of my other cats in terms of dominance & hierarchy(For example, he will wait until all the other cats have eaten to get his food). That said, he is not at all shy, & loves people. He will sleep on the pillow above my head at night, & gently licks my hair & forehead during the night. He also loves to give 'kitty kisses', where he gently nuzzles you nose to mouth. He is a sweet, gentle soul, & because he is so gentle he gets along fine with other cats. He has also lived with dogs & did fine, though I think he would prefer not to have them around. :-) The only issue with Apollo is that he has what I think is either Calici or Herpes virus, so he always has black, crusty discharge in his eyes & nose. It doesn't bother him, & I just wipe his eyes & nose out several times a day. It seems to be more under control when he is up to date on his Distemper shot.
