Annie is a friendly female Manx/Maine Coon mix with medium-length hair, about two years old. She has dense fur and beautiful markings and weighs just over 12 pounds. Annie doesn't like being in a pet carrier, and is vocal about letting us know it--but she was a true angel at our first trip with her to the vet's office, once she got out of the carrier. She was so interested in being rubbed and cuddled by the vet's assistant (and anyone else who came near) that she didn't seem even to notice that she was getting a blood test, vaccines, and a microchip. Annie was abandoned by her owner at a boarding kennel, along with Elrod, our Irish wolfhound mix. During their joint vet visit we were able to see that they are just fine together, so Annie should have no problem sharing a home with a friendly dog.
