Angel

Special Kitty!! This is the one. Angel is about 6-8 months old and has been with Best Friends since mid April, after being found by a local resident who saw how weak and sick she was. This kind person scooped her up and brought her to the animal clinic. She was treated for a mild upper respiratory infection, ear mites, and diarrhea, and given a bath! She was 100% better from her respiratory and mite infections very quickly, and after a lot of trial and error, and even more baths, her digestive tract is healthy and running smoothly! We've tried every medicine, test, this food and that food, special supplements; you name it! Finally, thanks to a chicken-free special diet for food sensitivities, that she will need to remain on, her digestive system is 100% better, too! She requires the Hill's brand D/D prescription diet. Now that we got that out of the way! Listen to what a great personality she has. Her hobbies include throwing spring toys around, climbing cat trees, and chasing or snuggling other fosters. She is also very content to relax in a comfortable spot for hours on end! She loves other cats and has found a best friend in an adult male cat named Potato, who was abandoned at an rv park by his former family and has been with us since the end of May. Angel forced Potato to be her friend by jumping into his kennel and taking over his cat tree and bed, and has since helped him with his fears and anxieties with trusting people again. We would love for them to be adopted together, but if that's not possible, we prefer Angel be adopted into a home with one or more existing cats as we don't believe she would thrive by herself. We often say to ourselves that Angel is the perfect cat. She really is. She is mellow but also playful, she is quiet yet also engaged and curious, she loves attention and yet is also content to relax on her own and enjoy a good nap.
