Angel has had a rough start at life but that doesn’t keep her from being a sweet affectionate kitty that loves people and attention. She was an outside stray cat that had a genetic defect in her bones that caused hip fractures. No one brought her to the vet for months even though they noticed her dragging her back leg. Finally, she was surrendered to the county shelter but irreversible damage had already been done to one of her back legs and it needed amputation. We rescued her and got her the surgery she needed. She is now working to strengthen her muscles so she will be able to get around on 3 legs. She will make a wonderful pet because of her resilience and and her sweet personality.
