Thanks to a generous donation from the Andy and Connie Ziemelis Charitable Fund, Andri's adoption fee has been sponsored by the Home Sweet Home Program! Andri is a 10 month old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Andri! Andri is a shy little guy who is simply looking for a loving home with a cat savvy family who understands that he will take some time to show his true personality in a new environment. Once he has had a chance to acclimate to his surroundings, he is a sweet kitty who enjoys slow, gentle pets from his favorite people. He is otherwise a typical goofy and energetic young man who enjoys spending his days exploring his surroundings, chasing around his toys, climbing up and down his cat tree, and hopping up into the windows to bird watch. Since Andri is a very shy guy who is still working on his socialization skills and startles very easily from fast movements and loud noises. So, he would prefer a calm and quiet home with a family with respectful older children at least 12 years of age or older who understand he may prefer his independence at times. He came into the shelter originally with another kitty and is much more comfortable and confident with a buddy right by his side. So, he is required to go to a home with another feline friend. He may do ok with other respectful pets in the home given very slow introductions to one another and given he has his own 'safe' space to retreat to if he should feel the need.
