Precious, Playful, Curious! Anaphora may be all grown up, but she is an almost-kitten-sized girl! And still filled with the energy and spirit of a kitten. Anaphora is a sweet, playful, friendly, and happy soul who loves to chase shoe strings, and will entertain you with her super-fast paws! She loves napping in her cat tree, and using its sides as a scratcher to stretch out on. She is affectionately known as Annie in her foster home, and she actually comes when you call her name! When she sweetly taps you with her paw for attention, you'll be smitten. Anaphora loves her people, and will follow you around to keep you company. She is also a pro cuddler and will snuggle up by your side, totally content and happy. She especially adores the teenager in her foster home! She sleeps with him most nights. Anaphora simply loves to be in your presence so might meow to try to find out where you are. She is a cuddler and will often sleep on top of you. Annie came to APA! with one cloudy eye, but it's healed and requires no treatment - and she sees just fine! She is very friendly and enjoys the company of other cats, as well as human adults and kids! She would thrive in a busy household with multiple people and nice felines to cuddle with. Anaphora has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption.
