Alis

This lovely little lady is ready to find her forever family! If you are searching for a super sweet and loyal lady to add to your family, you are in luck because you just found her! Alis (pronounced just like Alice) is the sweetest girl. She is a young adult who lived her life as a pregnant stray before she found the home of the rescues founders! She arrived one night, cold, hungry, and super pregnant looking for help. The rescues founders brought her in and gave her a warm and safe place to be for the night, with the intention of checking for a microchip in the morning. Twenty minutes into their home, she gave birth to six kittens! Alis was so happy to be brought inside and to be loved on, we honestly don't know she was aware she was giving birth as she was just so happy and wanting to be right beside her new foster parents. She did a great job being a mommy for the next several weeks. She even adopted a stranded and motherless kitten and took him in as her own. Now that her babies are grown and are finding their forever homes, Alis is enjoying the empty nester life and is ready to find her own forever home! While Alis is an adult, she is still very young and ultimately still a kitten on the inside. She loves to play with wand and string toys and REALLY loves looking out at the window. Watching the birds and bugs from a window could easily be how she spends her entire day. The best thing about Alis is that she is the sweetest little calico girl you will ever meet. She LOVES people, she has never met a stranger. She wants to be right by your side and loves curling up with you and cuddling. You could never give this sweet baby too much attention. She will take it all gladly! Alis would do best in a home with no other animals, as the oldest pet, or in a home where the adopters can patiently introduce her to their other animals. Alis has experience meeting young kittens and did well. When introduced to older cats, she is not violent by any means, but it is harder to win her trust. We believe her life being spent as a stray has taught her to be overly cautious. She has only been an indoor only cat since April, so she needs time to learn other cats are not a threat to her. With that being said, she is a super sweet girl and we know the perfect home is out there for her, with or without other pets! Alis will be available post her spay procedure on August 6th. She is utd on distember and rabies vaccinations, negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. She is also microchipped. Adopters will go home with all medical records and microchip registration information. Alis's adoption fee is $100.
