Alex

Meet Alex! Alex is an adult, male, brown tabby with the sweetest white mittens! At approximately 7 years old, he's a big kitty, and his foster dad describes him as "a bit of a chonk." Don't let Alex's size fool you- on the inside, he's a bit of a sensitive spirit. He's experienced some sad events and it has made him slower to warm up to people and wary to trust them. Alex, along with his bonded partner, Mary, were originally rescued by volunteers, from inside a dumpster, among the discarded furniture from the former Mastori's restaurant (fun fact: they are named after the restaurant's owners!) Though the pair were adopted in 2022, they were recently returned to BCC by their adopter, through no fault of their own. Alex is sweet and gentle- once he comes out from under the bed and gets to know you. Mary and Alex are emotionally bonded, though not biologically related, and the two are only available to be adopted into the same home. BCC knows that Alex may not be the perfect cat for every home situation, but they believe that this pair will fit in well with patient and experienced cat owners. Alex will do best in a home where he and Mary will be the only pets, or where the other pets are not dominant or rambunctious. Alex is neutered and fully vaccinated. He and Mary are just waiting for the perfect person to find them!
