My Story

Hi my name is Albertosaurus! From my foster: Albertosaurus is a joy to have around. She is silly, cute, playful, cuddly, and goofy. She loves other cats--she follows her foster brother around, goes right up to greet new cats by sniffing their faces, and grooms her foster siblings. She is very curious and playful and loves exploring water in the sink, spelunking under blankets, and chasing the laser pointer. She is a little shy at first and easily startled, but once she knows you are safe, becomes a cuddle bug. She spent a couple of days under my bed but now she sleeps on my bed with me most nights, jumps up onto my desk during work demanding pets, and even comes when I call her! I have been calling her Bertie. She loves to be talked to, pet, and played with. You can hold her and if she is in a cuddly mood, she will purr and sit on your lap. Her fur is silky smooth and her black nose is super cute. She is highly food motivated and loves all cat food and some human food. She is fun, sweet, and cute. We love having her here! She loves other cats and should be with at least one other cat. She is a bit nervous and startles easily so she should only be with older/calm/respectful children; she would not like being in a loud, chaotic environment. She is a little afraid at first, but if you give her time (and treats!), make good eye contact, and talk to her sweetly, she learns you are safe and loves you!
