Abra came to SCDR from a hoarding situation, where she didn't receive a lot of human attention. She is playful and loves to roll around on her back to get your attention. But she is also not sure about the whole people thing, and only allows minimal contact, even after several months in her foster home. Abra loves food, the other cats in the foster home, and she's okay with dogs that are calm around cats. She has a crazy creaking meow that sounds like the clicking alien language in Predator, and she has huge pupils that make her eyes inky black like in the X-Files. Please consider giving Abra the patient and loving home that she deserves.
SCDR also has cats for adoption at both PetSmart Stores in Lubbock as well as Pet Supplies Plus on 82nd Street. All cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date with vaccinations, and microchipped prior to adoption. SCDR's adoption contract stipulates that the cat will be indoor-only and never declawed.
