Hi, my name is "Jem!" My crazy human foster Mama named me Jem after the character "Jem Finch" from the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird," (hey, check out my brother "Boo Radley" also on Petfinder listed under adoptable cats from PANT) but if you adopt me, you can name me anything you want! I am a little, all black kitten who will have a medium to long haired coat when I am grown up. My human fosters say I am "A little nut!" If you have a good sense of humor, you will appreciate all that I have to offer. They say I am "full of myself" and that I "think" I am a "tough guy," but DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU... I am definitely the sweetest and most affectionate little kitten that you will ever meet -- guaranteed! ;o) More than anything I will love to sit in your lap and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle -- I call it a "love meltdown." I think I would love to have an indefinite love meltdown: I love to have my belly rubbed; I will tap your face ever so gently with my front paws, no nails, just my little pads; I like to rub my cheeks against yours and whisper sweet little nothings into your ears which will give you chills and the warm fuzzies; if I knew how to pucker up my little lips, I would give you a great big kiss! I just LOVE to cuddle and purr, purr, purr. I'm a very sweet little boy. I was born on 4/26/10 and I am fully vetted: I am neutered; I've tested negative for Leukemia and Feline AIDS; all of my vaccinations are up-to-date and I'm dewormed.
