When 29 Palms animal control called to report that a kitty with one of our microchips had been turned in as a stray, our first thought is.... 'Where is 29 Palms', and our second thought is, 'Who wants to take a road trip?' ?
Sweet Sam was found wandering some camp grounds in the Joshua Tree area of CA. A Good Samaritan surrendered her to the nearest shelter facility in the hopes that Sam's family might be looking for her. Unfortunately, Sam's family never came for her, but we were more than happy to bring her back to AZ and provide another chance for her to find the forever home that she deserves. Sam is a very sweet and talkative girl who would prefer a calm home with few animals. While she prefers to be a couch potato, she also enjoys wand toys and will need her human to spend time with her each day to ensure that she is getting the exercise that she needs.
She is neutered, microchipped, is FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV
