Update 9/8/22: Razzle and Tooney are married!
Tooney got lucky three times over. First, he was lucky to be found and brought into the animal shelter in San Jose. Then, he was lucky that someone reached out to Palomacy to take him in before she was euthanized. After that, he got the best medical care to help him heal a deep wound on her backside. This beautiful King pigeon is now recovering well in foster care, getting used to the idea that he's going to be valued as he deserves for the rest of his life.
