Meet Steve! Steve is a senior Red Belly, he has a wild caught opened band. Steve loves to greet you by saying "Whatcha doing"? He loves toys and nuts for treats and fresh fruit. We don't have any background information on Steve, he came into the rescue from animal control, but has quickly become a favorite. Steve is ready to be the center of someone's world and make you smile and laugh with his adorable little voice. He will step up with some patience and trust. If Steve sound like the right little beautiful guy for your home, his adoption fee is $350.00. If you’re interested in adopting Steve, put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
