Spyke (Bubba)

Meet Spyke, our very own Okie ( he's originally from Oklahoma) Spyke is 28 years old and has only had one very loving home, with his dad and sister. Spyke likes to be called Bubba as he was affectionately called his whole life. He was handled daily and was a huge part of the family. His favorite things are bells (he loves to ring them). He loves toys he can destroy, wood, cardboard, paper, and Nuts, he will do just about anything for a nut. Spyke does pluck some at certain times of the year, but is a healthy boy looking for his new best friend. Spyke's adoption fee is $ 900.00 If you’re interested in adopting, put your application in at www.birdsandbeaks.org/adopt We have an adoption radius of 350 miles of Battle Creek, Michigan but will expand for the right homes.  We never ship birds, and if you’re out side that radius, the contract you sign will require you to bring her back to the rescue at your expense if for any reason it doesn’t work out. No matter who you adopt from, know that no rescue is shipping birds that is reputable, and that anyone who says they’ll ship you a bird is likely telling you whatever you need to hear to scam you.  Don’t send money over the internet for animals.  Meet in person or not at all.
