After being hit by a car and suffering severe injuries, a good samaritan rushed Speckie to a pigeon-friendly facility for immediate surgery. He was then kept under close watch for the next few days to make sure he didn't give up. But Speckie, being the fighter he is, healed up and even found love with a beautiful girl named Angel (perhaps she was his guardian angel looking out for him?)
