Meet Sophie! Sophie is a green cheek conure who needs a patient home thatis able to work with her to gain her trust. She would do best in an only-bird household where she can have the focus and attention of human caregivers. She currently lives with another conure but is becoming increasingly possessive and territorial. A quiet or calm home would be good for Sophie, but she can scream and can be very loud. (Please note that conures may not be appropriate pets for apartment or shared wall/townhouse living. ) She can be frightened/cautious at times. Her current owner feels that with the right environment, Sophie will thrive and can be a very sweet bird. She's a good eater, loves squash and cherries, and can even say a few words.
