Skippy enjoys a healthy diet of pellets, fresh fruit, and vegetables. He has a very curious and playful personality. Skippy would thrive in a home with an experienced owner that can work with him and allow him plenty of free time out of his cage. Amazons, in general, are known to bond strongly to one person; it is important to research this species or any other bird species before adopting one. Amazons can be loud at times and are not suitable for apartments. Skippy will need a minimum cage of 36 x 24 x 48, with 3/4 - 1 inch bar spacing. As always, with cages, bigger is better.
