My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hatch Date: 2004 Shona (Latino) is a Female, and Panna (Grey) is a male. They are a bonded pair of Cockatiels that have been together for 20 years. They are very shy and skittish of peopleWatching the happenings in the neighborhood through the large window seems to be their favorite activity.Their foster home is working on getting them to eat a healthier diet. They have already started to nibble on pellets. These two need a quiet environment where they can live out their retirement years :) Shona and Panna are being fostered in Jackson, NJ For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA. We have no central location. You must be within driving distance to make required visits and to adopt. We will NOT ship our birds. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, or their family home, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds. If interested in meeting Shona and Panna, please review our adoption policies and complete an adoption application on our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org.
